housing, environmental issues, permits for temporary imports, maquila
programs, textile export programs, textile visas, obligations with labor
and health authorities.
Ammac also provides permanent up date and advice regarding

Organize Conferences, workshops and seminars focused to improve plant
productivity and compliance with all government regulations.
3. Representation
Represent the best interest of the members before all levels of Government
federal, state and local authorities.

5.Statistics reports
This area is attended by ALFONSO PADILLA, alfonsopadilla@ammac-bc.org.mx
where the BIANNUAL MAQUILADORA WAGES SALARY POLL is realized with no cost.
Statistical data from sources such as INEGI, THE MEXICALI INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
COMISSION, THE STATE'S INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT SECRETARIAT, ETC., it's
also compiled for our membership.
6.SAAI Center
This area is coordinated by GUSTAVO SOSA (email:centsaai@telnor.net)
and ALBERTO LOYA, who give service to companies that count with Apoderado
Aduanal and to Custom Agencies that want to validate the information in
their pedimentos. It was created to reduce costs, because while a Customs
Agency charges between $80.00 and $150.00 pesos depending on the Customs
Agency that is contracted, we only charge the service for our own maintenance
at $30.00 pesos. It has to be stated however, that to make use of this
service you need to have Apoderado Aduanal in your company.
7.Events
Organize sport and cultural events for all the employees to integrate
the industrial community: Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Golf
and Fishing tournaments.

with the help of Gloria Carrillo. eventos@ammac-bc.org.mx We do all year
long sports events, and their organization, follow-up, promotion, press,
television, etc., are free. However we do charge a quota for expenses
like refereeing, equipment, etc., but not for personnel salaries' or vehicles
and support we give.
Some of the special events are: the GOLF TOURNAMENT, FISHING TOURNAMENT,
INTERMAQUILADORA SPORTS TOURNAMENTS, MAQUIOLYMPICS, AIEMAC'S BEAUTY QUEEN
CONTEST, NEW YEAR'S DINNER, MAQUILADORA INDUSTRY WORKERS' CHILDREN CHRISTMAS
PARTY, CHILDREN OF THE STREET TOURNAMENT, SUMMER CAMP FOR MAQUILADORA'S
EMPLOYEES' CHILDREN.
In addition, we have the maintenance and pay of salaries of 5 people
in the Sports Complex (10 acres of sports fields for soccer, basketball,
volleyball, softball, fast soccer, playgrounds for children, restrooms,
with over 600 trees, completely fenced) that the State Government lent
to us and is at the disposal of all the members to have sports events
and get-together's, company parties or celebrations with all your employees,
whenever you like, you only have to communicate to this office and make
your reservation.

is also in charge of promotion and publicity in radio and printed media
of all our sport events, courses, conferences, special events, etc.
8.Meetings
Conducts informative monthly meetings with special government officials
and specialists in all industry affairs.
9.School industry link, training and labor pool exchange
This area is attended by Alfonso Padilla, alfonsopadilla@ammac-bc.org.mx
helped by Gilberto López Hernández who coordinates all the
training and courses with institutions like U.A.B.C., CETYS, TECNOLOGICO
DE MEXICALI, UNIVERSIDAD AUTONOMA DE GUADALAJARA, SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY,
ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY, CECATI, CBTIS and DGETI. Additionally, courses
with the Energy Saving Commission and external instructors in all areas
that the companies need are organized through the year in this area (we
call this: VINCULACION, EMPRESA ESCUELA". Linking with the schools
and institutions is free, and the courses' fees are only to pay the expenses
of giving the course.
The Labor Pool Exchange service is well known to our membership and it
is giving good results.

Esta área es atendida por ALFONSO PADILLA, alfonsopadilla@ammac-bc.org.mx
auxiliada por Gilberto López Hernández, quien coordina todos los cursos
de Capacitación en Vinculación con Instituciones como U.A.B.C., SDSU,
CETYS, TECNOLÓGICO DE MEXICALI, UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE GUADALAJARA, UNIVERSIDAD
DEL ESTADO DE SAN DIEGO, UNIVERSIDAD DEL ESTADO DE ARIZONA, CECATI, CBTIS
Y DGTI. Adicionalmente se organizan durante el año cursos con la Comisión
de Ahorro de Energía e instructores externos en todas las áreas que las
empresas requieren. La Vinculación con las Escuelas es gratuita, los cursos,
pláticas y talleres tienen una cuota de recuperación por participante.
El servicio de la bolsa de trabajo es de todos conocido y sigue dando
resultados.

donde se realiza sin costo alguno la ENCUESTA SEMESTRAL DE SUELDOS de
maquiladoras y se cuenta con datos estadísticos con fuentes de
INEGI, COMISIÓN DE DESARROLLO INDUSTRIAL DE MEXICALI, SECRETARÍA
DE DESARROLLO INDUSTRIAL DEL ESTADO, ETC.
6. Centro SAAI
Esta área coordinada por GUSTAVO SOSA censaai@telnor.net
y, ALBERTO LOYA quienes dan servicio a empresas que cuentan con Apoderado
Aduanal y a Agencias Aduanales para validar la información de pedimentos.
Se creó para abatir costos, pues mientras una Agencia Aduanal cobra
por cada movimiento entre $80.00 y $150.00 pesos dependiendo la agencia
aduanal que contrate, nosotros sólo cobramos el servicio para el
propio sostenimiento a $30.00 pesos Cabe aclarar que para poder hacer
uso de este servicio es menester contar con Apoderado Aduanal en su empresa.
7. Eventos

colaboración de Gloria Carrillo eventos@ammac-bc.org.mx Durante
todo el año se realizan eventos deportivos, cuya organización,
seguimiento, promoción, prensa, televisión, etc. son gratuitos.
Sin embargo, sí cobramos cuota de recuperación de gastos
como arbitraje, equipo, etc., mas no por salarios de nuestro personal
ni por vehículos y apoyos que damos
Algunos de los eventos especiales son: TORNEO DE GOLF, TORNEO DE PESCA,
TORNEOS DEPORTIVOS INTERMAQUILADORAS, MAQUIOLIMPIADA, REYNA DE AIEMAC,
CENA DE FIN DE AÑO POSADA NAVIDEÑA PARA LOS HIJOS DE LOS
TRABAJADORES DE LA INDUSTRIA MAQUILADORA, TORNEO NIÑOS DE LA CALLE,
CAMPAMENTO DE VERANO PARA HIJOS DE EMPLEADOS DE MAQUILADORAS.
Adicionalmente tenemos el mantenimiento y pago de salarios de 5 personas
en la Unidad Deportiva (4 hectáreas con canchas de fútbol,
basquetbol, volibol, softbol, fútbol rápido, áreas
infantiles, baños con mas de 600 arboles y completamente cercado)
que el Gobierno del Estado nos otorgó en préstamo y que
está a disposición gratuitamente de todos los socios para
hacer convivencias y eventos deportivos cuando lo deseen, sólo
tienen que comunicarse a estas oficinas y hacer su reservación.
8. Reuniones
Lleva a cabo reuniones mensuales con los miembros para tratar
asuntos de los diferentes comités de esta asociación.
