Anderson Power Products applies Kubotek KeyCreator to accelerate integrated product design process

August 25, 2004--Kubotek USA announced it has received a contract renewal for software upgrades from Anderson Power Products(R) (APP) of Sterling, MA, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of high power interconnects and accessories. Anderson purchased, installed and is working with the latest version of Kubotek(R) KeyCreator(TM) (formerly CADKEY(R)), geometry-based design and modeling technology.

"We chose KeyCreator for the flexibility that is not available through any parametric-based solid modeler," said Danna Mancini, Anderson's manager of engineering services. "KeyCreator can be used for both very simple and very complex modeling applications. Its interface is much more intuitive, and the detailing and 2D functionality are far superior to other products. The new generic move and generic edit features alone were worth the upgrade. Right now we are using it to design a new product for a major telecommunications firm, one of our biggest customers."
