American Soil Technologies Projects Next Year Sales Of $1,400,000 Of Agriblend In Mexico

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 2000--American Soil Technologies, Inc. (AST) today announced a $1,400,000 sales projection of its flagship product, Agriblend to Mexico in 2001.
Sunpride, Inc., a subsidiary of the Gerber Goldschmidt Group, having this year completed a series of tests in Mexico using the Agriblend Soil Amendment, has attained results that lead to the aggressive projections for next year. The Company will ship 700,000 pounds for 2001.
Shanna Decker, a Principal with Sunpride, said: "We are excited about the results obtained in Mexico in Agriblend yield and water savings and very optimistic about the long term future of AST's Agriblend product."
AST's Agriblend Division has also completed the training of all 26 offices of United Agri Products (UAP), a division of ConAgra, in the southwest. Johnny Dickinson, Agriblend Division's Senior V.P., Sales, said, "We are lucky to have a distributor of the quality of UAP with seasoned professionals in the area of Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma."
